Spinal Manipulation

Also known as a “chiropractic adjustment”, spinal manipulations are used to restore normal biomechanical movement to the spinal column. Abnormal movement of the spinal column irritates the spinal nerves, therefore inducing pain and decreasing that nerve’s function, also known as a “subluxation”. Irritated nerves do not function as well as healthy nerves, therefore making us less healthy and our bodies function sub-optimally.  This restored movement helps the patient to achieve normal range of motion, decrease the stress on the nervous system, reduced inflammation, improve nerve function, decrease pain and diminish nerve irritation.
