Cryo/Thermal Therapy
Cryotherapy and thermal therapy are two foundational tools in managing both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Cryotherapy — the therapeutic application of cold — is used immediately following acute injury to reduce pain, limit inflammation, and minimize tissue damage. Thermal therapy, on the other hand, is applied to chronic conditions where increased circulation and tissue relaxation are the priority. By improving local blood flow, relaxing stiff muscles, and stimulating cellular metabolism, heat therapy creates the optimal environment for deep, lasting healing.
